Makolytics partners with governments, health systems, and global health institutions to design governed data infrastructure, advance interoperability, and translate AI into responsible, usable health policy.
Makolytics is a health data governance and digital health advisory practice founded by a health data leader with 15+ years designing data infrastructure, leading regulated data release programs, and advancing interoperability across U.S. and African health systems. We bridge two worlds that rarely talk to each other well: the technical architecture of health data, and the policy and governance decisions that determine whether that data actually gets used.
Mission & values →We provide hands-on, technically grounded advisory grouped into three practice areas, digital health systems, interoperability, and AI; health data governance, policy, and public reporting; and health data visualization and dashboard creation. We work directly with technical teams and executive stakeholders alike, translating complex data environments into governed, usable systems and clear policy recommendations.
Expertise & services →EMR/LIS implementation and strengthening, interoperability and data standardization aligned to the African Union's 2023 guidelines, and AI-enabled healthcare with responsible AI governance and ethics.
Regulated data release and advisory committees, price transparency and public reporting, and rural health transformation planning.
Data linkage and production dashboards in Tableau and Power BI that make complex health data clear and decision-ready.
Makolytics worked in Maryland, with U.S. state government, and in Ethiopia, with health system and university partners, following earlier analytics and data warehouse work in Wisconsin. We welcome engagements across sub-Saharan Africa and with U.S. state and federal health agencies.
